Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has expressed strong criticism of Tesla’s self-driving efforts, stating that those interested in studying “AI trying to kill you” should “get a Tesla.”

Steve has had a pretty complex relationship with Tesla because he purchased a Model S class Tesla and publicly praised the vehicle but then he decided to replace the vehicle with Chevy Bolt and he ultimately kept the Tesla only.

Wozniak  has suggested that Tesla vehicles on FSD were attempting to “kill people adding that such claims were “not even close to reality.”

Wozniak claimed Tesla “oversold” its self-driving capabilities in a Bloomberg interview. He suggested that Wozniak criticizes Tesla’s existing Autopilot technology as more of a “driver-assist” feature that necessitates constant driver attention than a truly autonomous system. The company’s reliance on cameras and sensors, which Wozniak criticizes Tesla feels are ineffective in all driving circumstances, was another point of contention.

Wozniak’s remarks come at a time when Tesla’s Autopilot system is coming under more scrutiny, particularly in the wake of numerous high-profile incidents. The technology has been criticized for not being advanced enough to function securely without human interaction.

Wozniak’s Criticism of Tesla and a Response.

Wozniak’s criticism may come across as harsh, he has a reputation for being a vocal supporter of innovation and technology. Wozniak was a pioneer in the personal computer sector.

Wozniak’s remarks further emphasize the need for precise regulation and oversight of autonomous vehicles. Governments and business leaders must work together to develop safety and reliability standards as self-driving technology spreads.

Wozniak’s criticism has not yet received a response from Tesla or Elon Musk but the automaker has previously defended its Autopilot technology by saying it was created to help drivers and increase safety. Additionally, the business has declared its commitment to creating fully autonomous technologies in the future.

At last, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has expressed his disapproval of Tesla’s self-driving efforts. He praises Tesla for their unique approach to the auto industry, but he believes that before fully integrating self-driving, the company needs to address some safety issues. Wozniak believes that Tesla’s Autopilot system confuses drivers in believing it is entirely self-sufficient and provides a false sense of security. Wozniak criticizes Tesla’sDespite his criticisms, Wozniak criticizes Tesla as still optimistic about the possibilities of self-driving technology and expects that Tesla and other businesses will keep developing their systems to make driving safer and more effective in the future.
