The all-new Jimny off-roader has been introduced by Maruti Suzuki with a starting price of Rs. 12.74 lacks (ex-showroom, India) in the Indian market. The 5-door SUV is also available through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe for a monthly subscription price of Rs 33,550 which is all-inclusive. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is now available in two classes, Zeta and Alpha, with both manual and automatic gearbox options.

Since making its global debut in 1970, the Jimny has defied convention thanks to its classic styling and superb off-road performance enabled by Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) technology. The introduction of the Jimny (5-door) is an exciting turning point in our lineup of SUVs and will be crucial to achieving our objective of being the nation’s leading SUV manufacturer.
Zeta and Alpha models of the Jimny (5-door) will be offered, with both automatic and manual gearbox options. Its sturdy body frame, which is supported by its upright A-pillars, and flat clamshell bonnet, which provides a commanding vision from the cabin outward, enable drivers to navigate difficult terrain. The Jimny’s LED projector headlights with washers ensure that visibility is maintained even in the worst circumstances. The streamlined bumpers’ slanted edges increase wheel clearance for quick movement, and the sections’ protective black textures prevent damage. The Jimny was meticulously created to enhance the driving experience by fusing form, function, and innovation.
In order to increase the driver’s comprehension of the orientation of the automobile over undulating surfaces, the instrument panel and center dashboard have been developed. Parts of the interior have a design that resembles the body of a premium single-lens reflex camera, which hides minor blemishes, reduces reflections, and is comfortable to hold. It has a sizable boot and a wide rear entrance, which make it simple and convenient to load and unload your luggage.

The 5-door SUV has a body-on-frame construction and is built with the brand’s “Crafted Futurism” design philosophy in mind. Some of the key stylistic features include the square-shaped body, vertical A-pillar, and flat clamshell bonnet. The front fascia has optimized bumpers with slanted edges and washer-equipped LED projector headlights. Around the bumper area, it has additional protective black textured panels. The Jimny is available in seven color schemes, including two dual-tone and five single-tone variations.
Aspects of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The interior of the cabin is all-black with silver accents. According to Maruti Suzuki, certain interior design cues are meant to evoke “the body of a high-grade solitary lens reflex digicam that masks small scratches, suppresses reflections, and is easy to grip.” The 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen multimedia unit with Bluetooth connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is located in the central console. It also sports an audio system called Arkamys Surround Sense.
It has six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, an electronic stability program, brake confined slip differential, hill hold management, hill descent control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a rearview camera. It is based on Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) platform.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny Specifications
The 1.5L 4-cylinder K-Series gasoline motor with Idle Start Stop innovation from Maruti Suzuki powers the Jimny. It produces an elevation torque of 134.2 Nm at 4000 rpm and a top horsepower of 103 bhp at 6000 rpm. It has a 5-speed conventional and a 4-speed automatic gearbox option, with corresponding mileage ratings of 16.94 km/l and 16.39 km/l. Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO 4WD system with a low-range transfer gear is mated to the engine.
Accessories of Maruti Suzuki Jimmy
Two accessory packages are available for the Maruti Suzuki Jimny: the Summit Seeker collection and the Adventure Lifestyle collection. While the latter includes items like expedition shelters and waterproof sleeping bags in addition to transportable chairs, multipurpose knives, and umbrellas, the former includes components like bumper skid plates, fender garnish, LED door sill guards, and an interior styling kit.
